About

Cave Buckner
I’m Cave Buckner, born and raised on a Missouri beef cattle farm in “Little Dixie.” As a former wildlife biologist, who later was based in Atlanta, Georgia, working as an international marketing executive for Fortune 500 companies, I now capture reader’s attention spans with page-turning Southern gothic thrillers from the 1920s. I try to face the big questions in life that elude us, by reminding us of our broken humanity, yet our capacity to love and be loved. With storytelling, through nature’s mysteries and my colorful Southern characters, my books will challenge you into a corner to face the question “Who am I?” and why the answer lies within our capacity to value the worth of others. It is this self discovery that will stay with you long after the last page is turned. I still take intermittent trips to the South, but I currently live in Missouri, where I know the dirt, but away from deadlines, bright lights and big cities.
